Exciting Call of Duty and Fallout Crossover Announced

The Fallout TV Show has recently captivated mainstream audiences, leading to several exciting collaborations. Following a Fortnite collab, it's now confirmed that Call of Duty will join the fray with its own crossover event on June 20. This special promotion even makes a subtle nod to one of Fallout 4 's most beloved quest mods.

Activision appears to be channeling the enthusiasm of dedicated fans who have spent countless hours enhancing The Commonwealth with various mods from Nexus. While it's undoubtedly a neat coincidence, it adds a layer of charm to the collaboration.

Robbie's Take

What a Time to Be a Gamer!

Believe it or not, Call of Duty is bringing some extra pizzazz to the gaming world with a Fallout crossover event starting June 20. Just when you thought your summer couldn't get any better, right?

If you're anything like me and my buddies, you probably spent countless hours scavenging for loot in the wastelands of Fallout. Now, imagine your beloved Fallout vault suits making an appearance in Call of Duty. Exciting? You bet! This crossover follows the buzz created by the new Fallout TV Show and the successful Fortnite collaboration. It's like the best of both worlds colliding in one epic, game-changing event.

What's in Store?

The crossover will give us skins for Price, Ghost, Soap, and Gaz, fitting them in the iconic blue and yellow vault suits. Now, this may or may not make you a bit more noticeable in battle (understatement, anyone?), but who cares when you look that cool, right?

The official blog post on the Call of Duty website details all the goodies. What's super fun is how they're nodding to one of Fallout 4 's popular quest mods. Those of us who've dipped our toes (or entire bodies) into the Nexus modding community know just how addictive those mods can be. I remember the countless weekends I lost to perfecting my mod load order, only to break my game—a rite of passage, honestly.

Why This Matters

On a larger scale, this crossover isn't just a cool event; it's a testament to how interconnected our gaming worlds are becoming. It's an exciting reminder that innovation and community drive these epic collaborations. They've grabbed our favorite elements from different games and moulded them into something even more awesome.

So, gear up, my fellow gamers! June 20 is just around the corner, and I for one, am ready to dive headfirst—vault suit and all—into this unique universe mashup. Happy gaming, and see you on the battlefield!
